During my recent travels from Croatia to Eastern Poland, I had the pleasure of staying at Palac Polanka, a charming hotel conveniently located just an 8-minute drive from the town center. As a landscape photographer, I often seek out places that offer both comfort and stunning surroundings; Palac Polanka surpassed my expectations with its beautifully landscaped gardens. The room I stayed in was spacious and well-designed, providing a relaxing atmosphere after long days of exploration. The hotel's commitment to cleanliness was notable, ensuring a comfortable environment. Culinary experiences can define a getaway, and the on-site restaurant did not disappoint. For dinner, I enjoyed delicious dishes that showcased innovative flavours, while the ambience of the dining area created a serene backdrop for my meal. I encountered a minor hiccup when I arrived close to closing time; although my request for a late dinner was accommodated, a warm welcome would have enhanced the experience. Breakfast offered a good start to the day, albeit with limited options; nonetheless, it was satisfying. The hotel also provides ample parking, internet access, and a smoke-free environment for a tranquil stay. While there were a few areas for improvement, my overall experience was enjoyable, framed by the quiet beauty of its park-like setting.
